Summer of 2001 by two good friends and like
minded individuals, Aaron Schultz (DRM) of
Brooklyn, NY and Jay Marley, of Orlando FL,
with the intention of promoting the North
American downbeat scene to an audience of
international headz.
Forsaking the big monkey "cocktail"
vibe, and short-lived musical trends and
styles, Bastard Jazz strives to focus on
outputting quality music, with a discerning
eye on the DJ and an ear to the
dancefloor.
