As one of the Midwest's premiere downtempo DJ's and producers, 27 year-old Jude Goergen (Jugoe) has been laying down dubbed-out, jazz-laden beats for over 6 years. As a managing partner in the Cleveland-based production/promotion company Headroom Digital, Jude has been involved in a wide range of events, and has been fortunate enough to spread his sound through out the world including gigs in Chicago IL, Brooklyn NY, Austin TX, and Amsterdam NL. Currently holding down four residencies throughout Cleveland, his sound has become a staple throughout the city's club scene.
He is often sought after for more upscale and culturally diverse events because of his ability to juxtapose tracks that are intelligent, sexy, and down right funky. Along with Cleveland's DJ misterbradleyp, he has been able to prove that downtempo is not just for restaurants and lounges, but for the dance floor as well. Together they host an extremely successful monthly called Nitty Gritty which is the only event in Ohio to bring in acts like Jazzanova, Mr. Scruff, J. Boogie and Nickodemus and Osiris to name a few.
